Jessica Seinfeld [yes! Jerry’s wife]
She does some nifty little things in the kitchen. So for people like myself who has a fussy partner, or for mums etc, this is a great way to get healthy and creative in the kitchen!!
What does one do?
Yesterday morning was like any Sunday for myself (up at 6 to start work at 7).
As my friends and I were leaving the house for work we hear a child screaming out the front of our house. Concerned I became a nosey Nancy and decided to see what was going on. As I walked outside there was a todler (no more then two years old) with nothing on but her nappy crying as she was walking up and down our street.
My friend Emily and I decided to approach her and (having zero experience in this type of thing as she is 18 and I am only newly 20) decided to take the situation as it went.
Upon walking up to the little girl she started to run away from us, so we kept our distance until we could figure out where she was headed. She then went up the drive way of one of the houses in our street. Worried she was outside on her own we walked up to the house to knock on the door. As we did so she then stretched her little self and was able to open the front door.
We did the right thing, stayed outside, rang the doorbell and explained to the male who answered what the situation was.
He seemed unphased. Not bothered at all that his daughter was outside at 7am crying with no clothes on! We walked away shaking our heads in disbeliefe. How could her family not have heard her, given that it was her screams that woke us up in the first place!?
How does one react to this type of situation. The house in question was not in MY street as it was my friends house that we were staying at.
What would you normally say to that parent in question?
I was torn from informing him and making sure she was safe in the house and tearing him to absolute shreads!!
Add memories, thoughts, plans, and accomplishments to a jar throughout the year. Open it on New Year’s Eve and read through them.
